What to Expect

As one of the leading employers in its field, we recruit to match in order to find the best talent and recognise this through increased reward and recognition

Recruit to match

The term “Job matching” has been used widely to describe various approaches for matching candidates to open positions.

As part of the ‘getting to know the person’
we ensure recruitment is matched to particular skills sets, demographics and likability where possible.

Values-based recruitment

The purpose of our values based recruitment (VBR) programme is to ensure that we recruit the right workforce not only with the right skills and in the right numbers, but with the right values to do the right thing, the right way. We are particularly keen on ‘giving back’, we will therefore actively recruit ex armed forces personnel.

The Armed Forces Covenant

We have made a pledge to support Armed Forces personnel by signing the Armed Forces Covenant and their families with fair and equal treatment with regard to recruitment. This includes the pledge to actively recruit ex-servicemen and women and guarantee interviews to those who meet the criteria. This includes work with the Career Transition Partnership and supporting scheme.

Initiative used for VBR are:

Choosing a selection method, which involves people in the recruitment of their own staff.  This could include morals and values based interviews.

Contracted and salaried staff with no zero hours contracts.

We pay 10% above national minimum wage plus overtime rising annually
